About polluer.com
Our mission
polluer.com makes corporate carbon emissions data freely accessible. Climate data should not be locked behind paywalls or buried in long PDF reports.
What you will find
- 14,329 companies and organisations with emissions or other environmental figures
- Scope 1, 2 and 3 breakdowns where the report provides them
- Headline figures for several report periods where available
- Other metrics such as renewable energy share, energy use, water and waste
- Targets and commitments, achievements, risks and the reporting frameworks used
How it works
We use AI to extract structured data from publicly available corporate sustainability and annual reports. This lets us cover thousands of reports, but it has limits:
- Figures are not independently verified and extraction errors happen (wrong units, wrong year, wrong scope).
- Companies use different boundaries, methods and units, so figures are not always comparable.
- Where a value could not be extracted, we leave it out rather than show a placeholder.
We do not host the original reports. Always check the company's own report before relying on a number. Our guides explain how to read the figures.
Who it is for
- Journalists and researchers checking corporate climate claims
- Investors and analysts doing a first ESG screen
- Students learning about corporate sustainability
- Anyone curious about a company's climate footprint
Why "polluer"?
Polluer is French for "to pollute". The site focuses on environmental impact, specifically greenhouse gas emissions, to promote transparency.
