⚠️ Challenges & Risks +

  • Austerity measures and financing control in real estate became normal, which fostered a stable and healthy development of the market.
  • Since early 2019, the central government has repeatedly reiterated the real estate policy tone that “houses are built to be inhabited, not for speculation” and emphasized the implementation of austerity measures under the principle of “one city, one policy”, so as to control the housing price to a reasonable extent and ensure the implementation of the long-term mechanism for the stable and healthy development of the property market.
  • A series of controlling policies regarding real estate financing have been introduced onshore to restrict funding channels and financing facility space, meanwhile the regulations were tightened in offshore financing market as well. In addition, along with changes in the international political environment, it was very challenging for real estate developers to survive and develop.
